Fond Memories
In the last couple of week I have had the honour of interacting with two former members of the Smokey Mountain Ski Club alpine racing. Those meetings/conversations brought back many memories of skiing and racing on Smokey.
As we wait for winter to arrive here in BC I was thinking of how much I would like to again ski down the 45, the Avalanche, Grenoble and others , dance in the ski lodge on a Friday night and have a steak dinner on a Sunday night.
Such fond memories, such a great ski hill.
When is the next reunion?
How about installing a webcam!

As we get into Fall. I always remember dry land training with the alpine ski team with Rene Beauchamp(coach). Running up the lift lines jumping off of boulders anticipating the upcoming season.
That commitment to fitness is still with me today. As I write this I am just getting ready for a mountain bike ride at my new mountain Silver Star in Vernon BC.
I will never forget my days at Smokey,
Ski Racing, Lift operating, ski instructing, skiing Avalanche and the 45, and of course dancing to Clive Chen’s disco on a Friday and Saturday night. Did I mention steak night on Sunday night…

Special events
It would be a suggestion that you post your events with dates and promo... If there is entertainment or appearances or sporting events and time of event... When is your annual events? I used to ski there as a teenager and have fond memories.

I just wanted to comment that I learned to ski on Smokey Mountain in 1965 and lived there until 1968. I spent most weekends bing a young ski bum, I remember it so fondly and am so glad you still do the steak nights. I hope to return some day!
